Patroness of Difficult and Desperate causes

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, Unknown artist
I was first introduced to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart purely by coincidence, but as we know of Mary generally, under this title she is a powerful intercessor, known as a Patron of Difficult and Desperate Causes.
She apparently was titled this by religious, namely, Fr Jules Chevalier, in the 19th century, as a way to include her support in efforts by a new community (Missionaries of the Sacred Heart) to spread awareness to the Sacred Heart. (Perrotto)
My ancestors I’ve been told first discovered this devotion in Mexico (we are originally from Central America), and an image of her has made its way to me, thank God, thanks to the generosity of an aunt and uncle of mine.

In Spanish, “…advocate of Difficult and Desperate Causes” (Second image, back of frame, from original image sale, dated 1960)
She has helped me in a few binds that I found basically impossible, but she came through big time – a family member of mine was in what I thought a hopeless situation for many reasons, but I was amazed to find out this family member was delivered from a great suffering, and quickly. After I was told of the situation, I thought to commend it to Our Lady of the Sacred Heart. It was a situation that typically is a great suffering and purification for most of us, but within weeks, this person was delivered.
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, pray for us!
